Sony Ericsson are hoping for a better 2009, but they will have to launch some very special cell phones at competitive prices if they wish to keep profits up. One such phone that needs to do well is the C510 Cyber-shot.
Engadget Mobile has been giving the handset the hands on treatment, just to see if the new phone has what it takes. Sony Ericsson will be launching the Cyber-shot C510 as a triple-band GSM and a single band HSDPA version for the European market.
Other versions will feature quad-band GSM triple-band HSDPA, and a triple-band GSM version for China. The phone is not the greatest Cyber-shot phone; features include 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, Snapfish, and Smile Shutter. If Sony Ericsson get the price right, then the phone could end up doing very well.
