Halo 3 ODST Expansion and Release Date

2009 is finally here and that means that we are closer to Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST. Halo Wars will be launched at the end of February 2009, but it is the Halo 3 ODST Expansion Release Date that we all want to know about.

As yet there is no official release, but GamePro has an exclusive two-page interview with developer Bungie, they plan to release Halo 3 ODST as a standalone expansion pack sometime in the fall. If you are bored with Call of Duty: World at War, then these two new Halo games will be a welcome break.

    jseph……wtf did you mean by that,,,odst is going o good if and only if bungie tryes its best to make it unique,,,any previous halo adaptation mearly modified and put in anew environment isnt goint gonna wark,,,plus by the time you read this halo wars could well be out and ppl everywhere r gonna enjoy it just like they enjoyed age of empires!!!!!

    Halo wars was fun, but bungie didn’t make it, so it didnt fit right. Halo ODST (Recon for those who didn’t get the change) is by bungie, so it’ll be better. I just hope it’s good. September’s a while away.

    The release of the Halo 3 expansion “ODST” will also bring the much awaited second half of the mythic map pack released earlier this year, the new levels will be, Longshore, Citidel and Heretic, each new level comes with its own Skull to collect which means Gamerpoints and one step closer to unlocking the coveted RECON armor.

    well the rings keep coming back. The Covenant kept making them. He destroyed them 3 times.

    Not full on brand new game…We have read any info, we\’ve also seen it covered on game shows like X-play, It\’s an expansion because it\’s not going to be as long as the normal campaign, And aside from that, Your cunty attitude and shitty spelling skills are either that of some guy who acts like a little kid or you ARE a little kid, so GTFO this M rated game and go play barbie dolls with your friends.

    And tyler84, The covenant forerunners made them, Thousands of years in the past, The covenant now don’t know how to make them, or if they did they wouldn’t have enough time (source:The Books)

    Halo Wars sucked… I think we can all agree… It seems like Bungie put alot more effort into ODST… Firefight mode looks like a great idea! cant wait!
