Leadtek WinFast PX9800GTX GPU: how does it perform?

It is no secret that the WinFast 9800 GTX+ has never been a great GPU, but Leadtek have been working on the graphics card to try and get more from it. Leadtek have given the GPU aggressive driver updates, thanks to the Catalyst driver team.
The new card now manages to do a good job in keeping the HD 4850 at bay; the 9800 GTX+ outperforms it most of the time. Deciding which the best card to buy does not come down to features these days, it is all down to your budget.
The HD 4850 costs just under $200, where the 9800 GTX+ costs $220 but is the better option of the two. Overall the Leadtek 9800 GTX+ is a good graphics card and offers great performance for the price. If you are looking for an all round GPU, then the 9800 GTX+ from Leadtek is a good choice.
