Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2009: CEA Previews

There are just two day to go before the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the CEA kicked off the event by showing off the product previews, and some of the products that will be on show at CES are truly amazing. The show will be a little less low key as some consumer electronics companies do not have as much on show as they normally would.

CES 2009 certainly tries its best to hide the fact that we are in a recession, and they seem to do it well. The first day at the show is a chance for adults to feast their eyes on all the cool new gadgets they will be heading our way soon. Although we are in a credit crisis that has not stopped the food still being overpriced at the event.

Analysts believe that consumer spending will be down by 0.3 percent in 2009, so that will have an effect on CES 2009. Consumer spending makes up for 70% of the U.S. economy, so 0.3% will be a huge blow to the economy.
