Steve Ballmer’s CES 2009 Keynote: Nothing new this year
By: Peter Chubb | January 6, 2009 | Leave a CommentBill Gates knew that Microsoft’s keynote at CES 2009 was going to be a boring one, which is why he decided to let Steve Ballmer take over instead. The problem that Microsoft have at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, is that they have no new products to show off.
This is a shame for Ballmer, as he is usually an entertaining guy, but it will be hard for him to keep his audience from falling asleep. I think the best thing that Microsoft can offer their audience is a double espresso.
So what is Ballmer expected to announce, firstly he will talk about Windows 7, the successor to Windows Vista, then he will talk about Windows Mobile now supporting Flash. The biggest news will be about two new Halo titles for the Xbox 360.
