Reasons why the Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 will dominate 2009 sales

Everyone seems to have their reasons why they feel that the Xbox 360 or Sony PS3 will dominate unit and games sales in 2009, some people have no empathy and are blind to reason while others see both sides of the debate even if they still hold a strong view.

In the end it’s all very interesting but the sales this year will claim only one winner for real gaming (this is not the Nintendo Wii in our view), we are talking hardcore gamers here.

Things become even more interesting when you have two writers from the same site with two different views, this is what we read today over at The Koalition. One writer claims that the Xbox 360 will dominate 2009 and the other believes that the Sony PS3 will, both give their reasons why and make a good read.

Have a read and let us know your view for gaming and sales domination in 2009, and please give your reasons if possible?

The other guy is on drugs. Sony commited economic suicide in releasing the PS3. It has NEVER sold well, and why should we expect a huge price drop? With their new PS3 slim coming out, I wouldn’t expect a drop of more than 30 dollars. Bottom line, playstation can no longer compete with the microsoft community.
