Nintendo Wii 2: Release date and what’s needed in the upgrade

And the point of this article is???

I expect the ALL consoles will release in the same year.

Sony learned it’s leason and M$ can’t afford to be wrong again (RROD, No standard HD, no wifi built-in).

But the WII will need to be HD and at least support Blu-Ray if not offer a huge hard drive.

The Xbox720/Phoenix will also have a large hard drive. If they don’t support Blu-Ray as a format they have two options. Make their own format or have multiple DVD’s. You know, install the game from one or two dvd and play with the third.

The PS4 (and there will be one) will be blu-ray compatable upto the 1TB blue ray disc. and more memory. I am thinking at least 4GB.

Both Sony and M$ need to have at least 4GB in RAM in order to give the developers the freedom that they need.

Nintendo are already doing the upgrades, with the improvements on the motion remote coming in 2009, and periphericals like Wii Fit. Also a better online community was promised.

As for the next console, I don`t see Nintendo rushing for it. Developers seems to be understanding just now how to make games for the Wii. Plus, charts show that older plataforms, like the PS2, still sell well.

And since 2008 was the year the 360 turned a profitable machine, and the PS3 is still to reach the breakeven… I don’t expect any new console before 2011/2012. Companies need time to extract all the possible revenue from the present systems.

The 2010 is off a year. Nintendo will release the Wii’s successor in 2011, FIVE years after its debut. Take a look at the previous Nintendo systems, and decide for yourself: NES (nationwide): 1986, SNES: 1991, Nintendo 64: 1996, GameCube: 2001, Wii: 2006, next system: 2011- see a pattern?

Also, the Wii now has DVD support- they just don’t want it to play DVD movies just yet- look for that later this year, but it does NOT have HIGH DEFINITION DVD- look for that in the next system in 2011, after more than 50% of homes have HD.

Nintendo knows what they are doing, it’s not a fluke they are on their 5th generation- an industry first! They’ve been at this almost 30 years, they’ll be around in the 2010′s with the successor to the Wii, but don’t look for it to be a Wii clone, Nintendo is hard at work designing a system that will make the Wii’s controls seem dated!

I doubt we’ll see a true Wii 2 (or whatever they call it) until 2012…..and I’ve no idea what that will involve.

I would say late 2009/2010 could see a tweaked version of the current Wii released…. the kind of uprgrade we saw from the original DS to DS Lite.

They’ll make it slightly smaller (and remove all but 1 GC port), increase memory for storage (nothing major..maybe 4 GB), maybe a HDMI port and upscaler (they may make it slightly more powerful so it can display in true 720p instead..but don’t expect games with better textures..it’ll just be to smooth out the jaggies on standard Wii software), Wii Motion Plus built into the controller and perhaps they’ll make the nunchuk wireless.

If there is a Wii 2, it should definitely have a DVD and Blu Ray player, and a bigger hard drive so it can compete with the other systems that will be coming out. Also we should see improvements in the infrared sensor bar and wiimotes so it will recognize smaller motions more easily and accurately.
Before any new versions of the Wii come out, I anticipate that there will be more highly interactive games with peripherals due to the success of the Wii fit.

Its more likely there will not be a wii 2. I think they are more likely to just come up with an upgrade sometime in 2009. Now on the other had the nintendo has been releasing new consoles every 5 years for like 30 years. If they keep following the pattern the next system will be out 2011. We should expect it to be called something else. After all they never came out with gamecube 2. Man can’t wait for 5th generation gaming. The next console better be up in par in graphics as xbox and playstation are.

i think that nintendo should get rid the the stupid friend codes and make it more like the 360. They should just let people make there own names and people can add them by there name not some dumb code that they give u

Well, there are some features that I think should be added to the new console that is kind has the same features of a Wii.

Keep the motion sensing.
Allow 1080 pixel support.
Keep backward compatibility.
Hard drive (Definite)
A channel to download movies, songs, etc.
Built-in Wifi.
Better 3rd party support.
Have more controllers.
Keep the Mii Channel.
Microphone in the Wiimote.
Eliminate friend codes (Retarded)
Cooler Design
Play DS games.

I’m a HUGE nintendo fan owning a gameboy, gamecube and DS. but i did not buy the Wii and chose an Xbox 360 instead. this is because i wasn’t happy with the graphics of the Wii, the fact that it lacks home media, and especially the Wii remote and the way most games are played. i MUCH rather prefer the classic joystick over the Wii remote. but it cannot be denied, the game titles and exclusive characters for Nintendo ROCK!!! i really wish to get the next gen on nintendo over that of microsoft and sony because im missing my favourite characters like Link, Samus, Fox and Mario

I think that one of the best features would be more memory and actual open world games. If you don’t know what that is Shaun White: snowboarding for x-box360 or PS3 is a good example. Also, more definition in the motion sensing. Right now, the wrist flick is the bast way, but I’m looking for the need of a full arm swing.

you know, wii´s graphics ain´t that bad, if you´ve ever played star wars rogue squadron-rebel strike you´d see wii is capable of A FREAKING LOT MORE, indeed its capabilities don´t match those of ps3, so that should be matched in the wii2 along with getting rid of those stupid friend codes. if they should improve something more, i think that would be the wiimote: have the motion plus built in on both wiimote and nunchuck, and the nunchuck should also have rumble and be wireless. also the controllers should be able to be connected to the wii for charging and lastly we should be able to take music from our ipods or cds and put them directly on the wii. ok… there are a few things you need to know before talk… When we compare a console to other “graphically” and the HD is used to say that one console can do more than other, is CORRECT!!! because if a console can’t handle a good frame rate and a sort of effects and filters at a hight resolution, them that console can’t do “HD graphics”, but can handle “SD graphics”… About the Wii doing whatever the PS3 at 480? I don’t think so… the chip inside the Wii can be compared with a GeForce 2… and I’m serious on this!!!! I read a article from a developer, and he explain what they can or can’t do on the Wii… and the original XBOX is way better than the Wii when it comes to graphics.

About the “Innovations” is true that the wimote is fun… but you can’t play all with it… or… can you do a HADOKEN?? I own a PS3, sell my Wii… but I keep my original NES… I know graphics are not the big deal when you look at fun…but it helps a loot!!! fun is about big effects and a loot of characters on screen at the same time… lights, particles, etc… ant the Wii can’t do it… well it can… but not the way I want…

I think the only thing that the next Nintendo system needs is to upgrade the graphics so that they are at least on par with the XBox 360 or better. The set up they have for the Wii is great and they shouldn’t change a thing except for the graphics and the ability to play DVD, MP3′s as well as CD’s. Forget Blue-Ray and just update the graphics card or else they will miss out on some more great games like Resident Evil 6 or better. Also a bigger hard drive wouldn’t hurt either.

Wii 2 HAS to be HD. this is 2010/11 where we talk about people so Nintendo has the money to move to the 21th century! you can get an HD cable at walmart but the wii 2 has to included in it (sorry of my inglish is weird).
also the memory is not that big at the wii. sure you can buy an sd cart, but the wii2 has to get minus 6000 blocks memory. Sound is good but it can’t be good enough though.

i agree, the social and adding people side of the Wii is terrible compared to PS3 and 360 where you just click and add. Plus the sending of messages takes an age to arrive, making it easier to send a text. that needs updating.

Though for 5th gen consoles, personally, the PS3 ability to access the menu while in game is awesome (not sure if 360 can do this) and background dl should be a requirement so we can play games while dl extras xD

Ability to eliminate unnecessary chat & movement between workouts selections. To be able to select and customize workout routines to flow through without interruption would allow a 30 min. workout to be completed to 35 min. rather than sometimes nearly an hour. Example would be to select 10 or more yoga poses that would run consecutive to complete a workout routine without having to quit, find & select each one or mix yoga with strength or balance. Additionally if the system could recommend a well-balanced order to do the poses for maximum benefit. Although spectacular graphics could add to the fun, a time-wise custom routine would be a great benefit to those of us with more interest in the fitness benefit of the program.

I think that the wii 2 should have wireless wifi without using the internet connection like the DS. It would be a pain in the neck using internet connection and it would take to long. I also think that the wii 2′s sensor bar should be the whole system because it would not be so irratating aiming at the screen and it woudn’t need a plug in sesor bar. It has to play all the original Wii games, and it should upscale them to 1080p, so all the old ones look as good on an HDTV as the new ones do. Also, the graphics should be on par with current HD game systems, and the nunchuk should be wireless. The balance boards should be upgraded to allow for multiple players to use one in games like Shaun White Snowboarding, instead of only allowing one player to use one, and they should be available without a game included. It should play CD’s & DVD’s, and have a cartridge slot for GameBoy Advance games, as well as a built-in webcam & mic.

As for the games, Nintendo needs to be alot more strict about making sure they’re free of bugs and other symptoms of shoddy programming before they allow them to ship. The majority of current third-party Wii games are akin to the majority of current budget-priced PC games. Full of bugs and so utterly horrible that they should all be recalled. This should never have been allowed to happen to the Wii, and it should never be allowed to happen to the next one. The Nintendo seal of quality used to guarantee a quality game, but sadly that isn’t the case with this generation.

Also, all the games should be playable with or without the motion controls, and with your choice of Wii controllers. These should include the remote, the nunchuk, the classic controller, and the balance board. You should also be able to use any controller for NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, or PC, and have the ability to plug in any GameBoy or DS system and use it for a controller as well. The controller for the VirtualBoy should be an optional controller too, and you should be able to use the controller for any other system with an adapter. It should also support mice & keyboards.

And just to make it absolutely irresistable to anyone and everyone, it should support 3D enabled monitors and have an optional accessory built to the original design specs for the VirtualBoy, so it can play all the red & black VB games in addition to the full color VB games that Gunpei Yokoi intended. Plus it should support multiple monitors and touch screens, so it can play any DS or DSI game to boot. The next Wii should be the ultimate Nintendo game player, and the be-all/end-all of Nintendo consoles. Even if it cost more than the PS3 did at launch, it would be worth it!

i think the wii is a pretty good system but if they do come out with a new one it should have better games that consist of more shooting games.

nintendo is not about graphics or memory, thats what microsoft and playstation do and thats why they are not doing so well now, because they are eaxactly the same exept for graphs and memory. so i think the nintendo 2 will be a suprise for everyone because that is what nintendo does, and it works. the nintendo 2 will come out in 2010, the xbox 720/pheonix will come out in 2011 and the ps4 in 2012.

here are my predictions. The PSP 4000/PSP2 will come out before christmas time 2009. Then Apple will make a gaming system after they a 2nd generation iPhone 3G S, which will be sometime in February. Now we are at February 2010, Apple makes the 3rd generation iPhone 3G S, and a 2nd generation Gaming system in August 2010. And then around December 2010, apple is going to release a portable computer, not a laptop, that is about palm sized and touchscreen. It will run Mac and Windows and you just transfer all your computer games onto the “Palm-puter” and play your games from there. 2011. Microsoft has already released a new OS and it runs any type of discs with a 128GB Drive. The screen is an LED and has built in speakers. The gaming system will be a motion activated controller with a built in microphone for in game sounds. The week after the 720 debuted, they will release a handheld version of the 360. This all happens before June 2011. July 4th 2011, The PS4 will debut with the iPhone **4G**, yes there will be a new mobile generation, which is the thickness of hard paper, about 0.76 inch. Also apple will release the gaming system G(or any other letter).
As you see apple has been working on a gaming system since the iPhone debuted, no one believed them since they made mostly office electronics like notebooks, lap tops, iMacs, iphones, and ipods. The ipods were carried on as a kid item so now people are starting to believe that there is a possible Apple gaming system.

nintendo has come out with some cool stuff in the past, love mario cart but i think the wii 2 should only be an installible upgrade so that people can purchase new games and keep their wii games as well, if they own this system. as for me, i’m pretty happy with my super nintendo system, as it is already paid for and the games are cheap and easy to find in my town, plus the fact i don’t need a different controller with every game. but thats just me, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

If the wii2 will come out there will have to be motion censors instead of controllers and the is because during the video game xpo e3 2009 microsoft deliverd a sneak peak that frightend nintendo and it was project natal wich had motion cencor so you could be the controller itself (ex.you punch and the game punches). If the wii2 comes out after the realese of natal with no motion cencors nintendo will fall.

I think the next-gen Wii should have two disk drives; one for wii2 and gamecube games, one for dvd/blu-ray and music CDs. and it should have a slot somewhere on it where you can charge the wiimotes and stuff when they are plugged into it, so you dont have to buy batteries or a charger…

hey i own a wii, and i’m a nintendo die-hard, and people like me are dying. When the wii came out, it was great. Metriod, Link, Brawl, the new Animal Crossing. great games. but thats basically where it ends. the wii 2 NEEDS IN ORDER TO STAY WITH, IF NOT PASS, SONY AND MS, no friend codes, more cuztomizable miis, perhaps a MII WORLD, larger memory to play youtube and games faster, built in motion plus,cpu compatibility, etc. o yah an waaaaay better graphix

The thing that will make the wii 2 most popular would, be a new controller. Although it may seem pointless, a new controller that does not need to be held (possibly strapped to your arms or legs), and has a wide range of frequency could really make a game much easier to control as if it were real.

Also online co-op with others could really make a difference. But, unlike the ps2 which requires an ethernet adapter, the wii 2 should allow anyone with just the console to access online play

I would like to see a gamer score you know like PS3 has and Xbox the wii could call it wii Achive and an online set up like xbox, it is hard to make friends on the wii when you cant talk to anybody. As for the HD aspect, Nintendo could use a hybrid technologie with the graphic card, as ATI already made with the PUMA or XGP Platform. So, the Wii stay almost as it is, but for the hardcore gamer we are, we could buy an add-on box that will boost the graphics and why not, put a HDD by the way and just install it as a docking station will. I think for the Internet connection, there should be a mouse, and a wireless keyboard, it’s really hard, and time consuming to try and move the mouse, and type with that dumb controller!!!! I also think it should contain a built in camera in the senso, and make video inter active games, like the Nintendo DSi Wario.

Why would you want to play a game like that on the wii. I mean the entire reason for the wii launch was to get people off the couch and moving. With those games 1. it would be extremely hard to play even with a classic controller. 2. It goes against the reason it was launched in the first place.

1) Although they’ve been pleasing hardcore fans more this year, I do agree. Let’s see some more for the hardcore.
2) Yes, that is a good idea. But there are demos in stores as well for some games.
3) Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the Wii? Sorry, I disagree with this proposal.
4) A head set would be nice. Wii Speak was clever, but it could have some problems I imagine. (somebody walks in the room, the mic is picking up extra voices) I think both options should be available, as they can be both put to good use.
5) The Wii does have good graphics. Unfortunately, there just aren’t many games that show the potential of the graphics. However, there are a few games that do have excellent graphics. (particularly Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy)
6) That would require an agreement between the companies, and that will most likely NEVER happen. Not a bad idea, but you’ll be waiting a long time for that one.

Me, I think the option of HD would be nice. Just as long as it works with or without, for those who can’t afford to purchase an HD tv. Other than that, there’s not much else I’m really hoping for. Oh, also better attachments. Wii Wheel, big disappointment. Some controller attachments that aren’t just a piece of plastic, that actually do something that you can’t do with the remote alone.

i think the wii 2 shouldnt have friend codes because it takes too long just to play a couple of games with your mates. it should be a simple word or something. Also it needs more games like uncharted and halo that kind of stuff. i know they have to sign a deal with the publishers but nintendo can afford it. also i think motion control is good, but things like wii fit go a bit far with the excercise things, i sometimes just want to play a good shooting game with my friends.

You guys are pretty stupid when it comes to “why” the Wii was made in the first place, some of you have it dead on though… but only a select few.

The Wii was never intended to be a “Next Gen Graphics” console. It never will be, instead Nintendo took a new approach to the world – and has had the best success of any console, ever. (Just recently the 360 is having more “get up and move” games, using a mock skateboard)

The point of the Wii was to provide Entertainment (whoah, really?) to a wide variety of players, not just “hardcore gamers” or “FPS fans” but children, adults, and grandparents alike. They are putting the family play back in the Game Consoles (something I remember fondly with the NES system, playing with my Dad and asking him for help when I got stuck.)

All you die hard heavy gamers – get a PC and 360 and go chill out. The Wii is perfect – to a point.

It’s ideal was to get families, friends, coworkers and anyone else together and moving, playing, laughing, and having a good time… yeah, literally, slap happy humor somtimes with some games, and silly cartooney everything (Look at the Miis)

They did a fantastic job. I played Wii bowling with my parents and sister – we haven’t done ANYTHING together in about 15 years. It was a great day, and afterward, we were all sore from the work out. Nintendo created a fun-addictive play system, that actually makes the “Players” work out and get moving, which is great for your body.

The only Changes I suspect “Wii 2″ will have will be HD support for 1080P – since 1080 P took the world by storm and No One wants to settle for less, and 480P looks jagged and blocky on 1080P displays.

Another thing will probably be Plug in DVD/BlueRay Drives.

Other then that I expect more “precision” in the Wii-motes, they have already added some things to this, and they will probably contenue to do so – as for a Head Tracking system – possibly, but really I can’t think of a good use for that other then Vid Chatting with Miis or something. (Games are not that far advanced and it would take probably million in R&D to get them advanced that far, even on a Wii Graphic scale,and if your going that far, why not full body sensor from fingers to toes and “live” your games.)

Nintendo is doing a great job, they had a plan, they stuck to it, and of course we have whiney children that complain the graphics aren’t enough.

I got news for you PS3 sucks. Sure it’s got graphics but none of the games have replay value, it’s hotter then a 360 anyday (and DOES have “RROD” type issues from it, just not as wide spread) and almost no one that has one uses it for blue ray, so you waste money.

360 is “alright” in my book – minor problems, that have been fixed with the new Arcade Series (new smaller Die/chips to prevent massive overheating and warping of the system board, causing RROD) I personally own 1 PS3 – never use it anymore – 3 Xbox360s – Friends and family fun on multiple systems/displays and a Wii. The 360 and Wii are played near daily – alternating between the two. The PS3 collects dust. I use my NDS more then my PS3 and I use my PC more then anything.

Nintendo did good, they set reasonable goals, got people moving, got families and friends together, and provided sheer entertainment on levels that any player, of any age, can enjoy. What more do you want from a console? You have fun, with friends. A+++ in my book. Microsoft and Sony could take some lessons from this whole thing.

Sales don’t matter. The sheer number of gamers the Wii has brought into the market and how many units they sold when the system was released and is still selling should make Sony and Microsoft quake in their pink-polka-dotted-pajamas. Nintendo started the gaming industry and it continues to push boundaries.

Nintendo has not put out new games to beat the other companies. for example, starfox 2. it was originaly going to be released on the snes, but nintendo stoped the release saying they did not want a game with 3d to be put onto there system till they came out with a system they thought they wanted 3d games on. nintendo could have let starfox 2 be realeased for the snes just to have the first 3d game on a nintendo system, but they didnt. they dont realease games for profit. they do it for the enjoyment of the consumer.

The PC? You gotta be kidding me. PC sucks for games. If you are talking about emulation, not only is it not legal, it’s a crappy experience. Games meant for PC is another story, but saying that you can play any game for any system on the PC is a major stretch of the truth. It comes down to – Nintendo did it first and did it better. Sony is cool, but their games are for acne faced kids with wifi connections and headsets who play FPS all day – oh and they shove remotes in their butts like that kid on youtube – when his WOW account was cancelled. Xbox sucks because microshaft sucks. I think that the Wii 2 (or whatever they decide to call it) definatley should have more HD supporting games.Also better channels and more memory would be sick.Definatley some harder games (for the experienced gamer).Get rid of the whole friend code system and do what the 360 does.Better access to the internet (the ability to be able to do all that a comptuer does already).maybe something super futureistic like a full body suit that lets you almost BE the caracter (like when you jump character jumps when you run character runs. would take time but would be totally sick.Keeping (and maybe improving the shopping channel).Also improving the whole Mii system (more face,hair,mouth,nose,and facial hair options).Blu-Ray support is welcome.Maybe, juat maybe with the push of a button it goes from a console to a portible device (dual powered of course). The Wii 2 would rule with some better graphics, DVD Support and some better motion tracking… Like if ur playing a fighting game the character moves the hands exactly the way ur moving the remote and the controller shouldnt lose track of where ur pointing it when u do a fast move. Maybe there could even be some kind of gloves and you dont need buttons, like when u go to inventory you move it away from the motion tracker.

Um, Blu*Ray is already supported in MS Windows and is a standard that a bunch of companied developed. I don’t know if Wii 2 will have blu*ray or not, but if they don’t, it will be because they chose not to, not because Sony (or anyone else) denied them access to the tech.

Well, from what I see, the Wii will come out on top. They have experience. They have characters that are more well known than the president. So, no they won’t lose. They have momentum more powerful than Sony or Microsoft. The Wii has past success to fall back on and I am not talking about financially. Sony and Microsoft don’t. Nintendo was running a race track to test itself on how good they could make themselves with their games. Sony and Microsoft saw him run and tried to out run him. Well, Nintendo has been running for something like 20 years. I don’t think Master cheif is gonna stop that momentum. He doesn’t have the influence. First, say good bye to Sony, then to Microsoft and wave at Nintendo as it continues to make consoles and games until the next company dares to race against it. It might take awhile for Microsoft to give up (I suspect Sony already has somewhat) but it will eventually. If not, well then good luck to Microsoft.

Might I point out that I really doubt that Nintendo will call its next console the Wii 2 or anything with the name Wii in it. From Gamecube to Wii was a big difference not only in name but in style. Perhaps Nintendo will create a console that can go both ways because I am willing to bet that Nintendo wants to keep making consoles and games that get you off your couch (for the most part), but I think they know that Nintendo fans are looking for something hard core as well. So, maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about but I think that Nintendo should not name their next console after the Wii. I think they should make their next console something new and exciting.

I THINK the new wii should have a portable charger.I personally think the wii was a good idea because most of nintendo makes is portable gamesystems.And a new wii mite put nintendo in line with sony.

I think the wii 2 will HAVE to have at least 8gb of memory for anyone to buy it, a better shoot 'em up aspect, BlueRay and DVD features an a itv and channel 4 player as well as the bbc iplayer. it would also be nice to have a computer desktop, way way way way better graphics and a better sound card. personnally I would like to have a camera for photo booth and stuff like that but that may be a bit exsessive.

No you are wrong about sony and microsoft system. first of all nintendo will fall before any of these 2 just because nintendo made some what of a good system since snes or nes. Just dring the ps2 nintendo did not stand a chance, ps2 is the best gaming system ever. and Sony is starting to pick ground now. the two system that wll fight it out at the end is sony vs. microsoft. sony has the better around console but microsoft as a better following as of right now. you will see at the end of 2010 sony will be on top of the console and will hold it tell 2011-2013 when the 8 gen console come out. So get off the nintendo dick and play a real fucking system. Only good games nentendo has now is smash bros, mario kart and nothing.

wii2 will need an alternate controller for games like call of duty and halo and you should be able to play games from wii 1. watching movies on my wii would be cool but only if it was HD and surround sound. but i would pick xbox 360 elite

Nintendo lost me at Gamecube…..which I still play. I refuse to stand there like a dick waving my arms around like a lunatic….I'm in my 30's now, I want to sit down…all nice and civilised…and play games with a proper controller. That is why I prefer the GCN version of Twilight Princess…..the last game Nintendo made with adult gamers in mind. The PS3 serves my purpose very well….and that will not be replaced till 2016. Good luck finding the money for your "1.5" version consoles….and I'll just keep getting fitmware updates to keep my PS3 cutting edge, like the soon to be released 3D update.

The next nintendo Console better have blu ray and a huge hard drive! the wii was dissapointing to me being a long time nintendo fan. I think they should have wire free controllers. I hated the wire from the nunchuck going to the wiimote, it just got in the way. I hated the second long lag to some games also. I know the ps3 move will be much better than the wii motes. Project natal is just going to be stupid because all you do is move your arms around. Having the controller just feels better. I hope nintendo improves on their next generation games because currently the games don't feel any different than gamecube games.

I agree 100% with what you said. Nintendo and Sony are my favorites. I only own a PS3 right now, and I sold my 360 and wii because I wasn't happy with niether of them. But I hope the next nintendo console has blu ray.

more mii features

Here is a couple of improvements that I would love to see in the Wii 2. : )

1) Just like a lot of people I want the graphics to be better. And can you try to make the graphics even better then the PS3? If it is possible that is.

2) I was hoping that there will be more hardcore games similar to the PS3 and XBOX 360.

3) I want there to be Gamecube games avalible to download in the Wii Shop Channel.

4) Of course, I also want to be able to play both dvds and blu-ray.

5) I would love it if they made it even more realistic and life like. To be honest most of the Wii games aren't realistic at all. For example: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is fun and all but it hardly ever got me of the couch and moving. I want to play an action game that will really get me moving.

6) I want the Miis to look more like humans instead of cartoons.

That is all that I could think of right now and yes I am into more realistic things.

The wii 2 would definetly need a webcam, instead of remotes. Just have a green screen behind you and the system could project you anywhere. That way your character would look like you and you wouldn't have to make cheesy and inacrrate mii characters. This would be a huge step up for nintendo that may just put them over the top. Comparred to all of the other things nintendo has already made, and the technology already out there, this would be simple.
