Motorola have announced three new cell phone models, which will be made available over the coming months on several different carriers. The three handsets in question are the Renew W233, SURF A3100 and Tundra VA76r; the three phones are being promoted as Eco, Touch and PTT Phones.
The Renew W233 is the eco phone of the bunch, as it is the first phone to be made from recycled water bottles. The new phone has a carbon neutral footprint, so should keep those who care about the environment happy. The phone costs 20 percent lees to manufacturer through this process.
The Motorola SURF A3100 is a touch-based phone and is a replacement for the Ming device, which has been on sale in the Asian market. The phone runs on Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 and has a 2.8-inch display. The Tundra VA76r has a ruggedized clamshell and will be making its way to the AT&T network.
