GarageBand 09 announced at Apple Keynote Live: Opposite of Rock Band
By: Peter Chubb | January 6, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have learned of two new products from Apple at their keynote live speech, iPhoto and iMovie 09, and the third new product is GarageBand 09. This app has a number of cool features, one of which is called “Learn to play.”
The cool interface will teach you how to play an instrument, great if you have always wanted to learn to play one. The app has a video of an instructor and has the fretboard of a guitar along the bottom of the app, the instructor then proceeds to teach you how to play.
Engadget describes Garageband as the opposite of Rock Band. When you want to learn how to play a song, Apple has enlisted the help of artists to help you play, that feature is called “artists lessons.” Sting is just one artist as well as John Fogerty.
