Circuit City holds PS3, Xbox 360, Wii sale game sale
By: Peter Chubb | January 6, 2009
Circuit City Stores Inc. has got 2009 off to a great start by offering games for the Sony PS3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii for just $14.99. Do not think that the games are old ones that they are trying to shift to make way for new stock, well maybe they are.
The titles include The Orange Box for the Sony PlayStation 3, Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Sonic the Hedgehog for the Microsoft Xbox 360, and Samba de Amigo and Game Party for the Nintendo Wii. It was only last week when Circuit was offering games for just $9.99.
Circuit City is just one retailer that has launched aggressive video game discounts, in the hope of keeping up those holiday sales. Other stores that are getting in on the action include Target Corp. stores and Amazon.com.
