2009 Macworld Keynote: Apple introduce iPhoto and iMovie 09

2009 Macworld keynote by Apple has only been going for just under an hour and already two products have been introduced. There is iPhoto and iMovie 09, and Phil Schiller is doing a great job in describing these two new products.

iPhoto has a cool feature, face detection which is much the same as Facebook photo tagging. This means that it can find the same face in other photos. Phil has been describing how photos taken with Aspen can be tagged on photos that have not been geotagged.

The other cool product is a new version of iMovie, Apple hope that the 09 version will be able to blow users away as they will all be able to use these new features. Phil admitted that they did something wrong with last year’s version of iMovie, but this year’s version will rectify that.

Glad to hear they admit they screwed up iMovie ‘08 - that was a huge disappointment for me. Sounds like I’ll have to get iLife ‘09 just for that reason alone! Thanks Apple!
