Six AMD 45nm CPU business class desktop in 2009

AMD recently updated their consumer desktops to feature the more energy efficient 45nm CPU, AMD have now announced that they will be launching 6 new business class desktops with the new 45nm processors in Q3 of 2009.

The CPUs that will be used in the range of business class computers are the dual-core Athlon X2 B23, and B21. The there is the triple-core Phenom II X3 B73 and B71. Finally there is the quad-core Phenom II X4 B93 and B91.

In Q4 of 2009 AMD are expected to issue the last orders for a number of their older CPUs, such as the Phenom II X4 9850B, 9750B, 9600B and the Athlon X2 5600B, 5400B, 5200B, 5000B, 4850B, 4450B. As yet AMD have not commented on this report.
