Download Windows 7 beta 1: January 5
By: Peter Chubb | December 22, 2008 | Leave a CommentA number of people have already had the chance to take a look at the Windows 7 pre-beta build, but other’s will be able to get their hands on the Windows 7 beta operating system very soon, as there are rumors of a January 5 download.
This date is not official: however Ars Technica has noted that a number of websites seem to be showing that same date. The screenshot on the Ars Technica website clearly shows what the content will be from the next quarterly update kit, for those who take part in the Microsoft Action Pack Subscription.
The Windows 7 Beta 1 download begins on January 5, 2009; this depends on your region. Other countries will follow in the first month of each quarter, (January, April, July, and October). However the source of this information could be wrong and Microsoft could allow the download to be made to everyone at the same time.
