BlackBerry Storm, iPhone 3G and T-Mobile G1 increase mobile web browsing
By: Daniel Chubb | December 22, 2008 | 1 CommentThings are in a downward trend when it comes to the economy but when it comes to web browsing on the move things are in massive growth, the uptake of mobile browsing has been helped by many of the high end phones.
Phones like the BlackBerry Storm, iPhone 3G and T-Mobile G1 have helped increase mobile web browsing in massive leaps and today more people keep connected to online content while on the move than ever before.
It’s not just those most popular cell phones that are helping people browse the web while mobile, they do not use the Opera Mini browser and Opera are reporting a 94% increase in page impressions in the UK. November 2008 saw Opera Mini generate more than 83 million MB of data transfer. If this was uncompressed data it would of been more like 746 million MB.
