BlackBerry Storm 9530: 4.7.0.83 update now available

For those of you who have the BlackBerry Storm 9530, then Christmas might have just come early for you. A new update for the OS has now been released, which is version 4.7.0.83. Once installed you will notice the difference to how the operating system works.

Update 4.7.0.83 is now available, but not the official release and we are not certain if Verizon will even release this version. If you feel that your firmware is lacking, then you should go ahead and give the update a try.

CrackBerry has already installed BlackBerry Storm 9530: 4.7.0.83 update on his handset, and has already noticed how fast the phone is. As always you install this update at your own risk, and have a read of a few Storm forums, just to make sure that people’s handsets are not suffering with problems since the update.
