Macworld not for Apple, opportunity for third Party developers
By: Peter Chubb | December 18, 2008 | Leave a CommentThe news that Apple is to pull out of Macworld is a sad day for many, as we have always looked forward to Steve Jobs keynote speeches. We all know how successful Apple has been with these events, but Macworld is more of an opportunity for third Party developers.
Seeing third party developers at Macworld is what has made the event so great, but the end of Macworld is going to hurt these third party developers, but it will hurt end users more. If there is no to be a big headline keynote, why will people as well as developers want to show up.
Apple has pulled out of other shows before, but Macworld is different, without Apple there is no Macworld. There are those who feel that these trade shows are not worth the hassle, as Apple are able to have great exposure of their upcoming products on the Internet.
