Download Microsoft IE Patch: Is Internet Explorer now safe?

As we know Internet Explorer has been suffering from a major security flaw, but Microsoft have finally issued a patch that will hopefully resolve the issue. But you now have to ask how safe is IE, and has users now lost confidence in the browser.
The Microsoft update for IE went live yesterday, which was made available through the normal update process. The update or patch will protect you against the exploits in the browser, which has allowed hackers to gain control of your Windows computer.
This latest security flaw must have given other browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox some extra momentum to catch up on Internet Explorer. IE does deserve the bad press for this oversight, but you have to remember that no browser is 100 percent safe. The reason that Internet Explorer has taken such a kicking over the past few day is because they have 80 percent of the browser market share, so will always be targeted more by those who wish to find flaw in its security.
