SingStar PS3 Update: Can now play any PS2 disc

For those of you who have been holding back on purchasing a PlayStation 3 because you love playing SingStar on your PS2, you will be happy to learn that you will now be able to play your PS2 SingStar disc on your PS3.
This free online update for SingStar PS3 now opens the doors for PS2 SingStar users to embrace the PS3, as they can now take their whole collection with them. For those who already have the Sony PlayStation 3, then you can get your SingStar PS2 discs out of storage and relieve all those great songs that you got to good at.
All you have to do is connect to the PlayStation Network, the update will begin automatically, and you are ready to go. You will have to start your SinStar session as normal by inserting a SingStar PS3 disc and then just swap it over for the SingStar PS2 disc.

I heard that ps2 singstar country still won’t work though and many people are having trouble with it, without any assistance from singstar or sony. Do you know anything that might help because I really want to purchase it. Thnx for the post.
I own a PS3 and have Singstar for PS3 and Singstar Country. I have tried planning the Country one on my PS3 many times, and it still does not work. I am FRUSTRATED. I really want to play it, and I don’t have a PS2 anymore.
play station 3 is a piece of shit and no one should buy it. why would u want sing star anyway thats just gay even for a woman get a life get out side and do something better with your life like cut fire wood
