Metal Gear Solid Touch for iPhone

There have been so many rumors as to what the next Metal Gear Solid game is going to be, but a scan from the Famitsu magazine might have just spoilt those rumors. It shows that there will be a Metal Gear Solid for the Apple iPod Touch and iPhone.

The scan reveals that the new Metal Gear Solid game has been designed to utilize the touchscreen features of the iPhone and Touch. Kotaku.com managed to get hold of the magazine and they say that the new game looks to be a spin-off the Metal Gear Solid 4 game.

As yet, this is just a rumor and hopefully more official proof will be on the way soon. If this was in fact true, then many of us would not be surprised. One thing is certain, if Metal Gear Solid does come to the iPod Touch and iPhone, then the Apple App Store will be under a lot of strain.
