Lenovo Ideapad S9 in US at Geeks and Buy

Geeks.com and Buy.com are just one of a select few of online retailers to start selling the Lenovo Ideapad S9 in the US. The new netbook has an 8.9-inch screen and weighs in at only 2.4 pound, as yet there is no information as to how long the battery life will be.

The Lenovo Ideapad S9 that will be on sale at Geeks and Buy is powered by the Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz processor, the netbook has 512MB of DDR2 memory, GMA 950 graphics, 4GB solid state drive, 0.3-megapixel web camera, Bluetooth, 802.11 b/g Wireless LAN, 4-in-1 media card and much more.

The S9 will run on the Linpus Linux Lite operating system. Geeks will be selling the Lenovo Ideapad S9 for $344.99, while Buy will be selling the netbook for $359.46. So it looks as though Geeks have got the better of Buy for this deal then.
