Sony PS3 Exclusives: What a line-up

2009 is shaping up to be very hopeful for Sony’s Playstation 3. PSXextreme have compiled a list of software titles that suggest that next year will be the year where the Playstation 3 finally heads to the top.

With exclusive juggernauts on the way such as Killzone 2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and God of War III, there is not much room for argument just looking at their list of games on the way.

While Xbox 360 will have Gears of War 3 next year, there isn’t a great deal of big games that are hugely anticipated like there is for Sony’s console. Do you agree? Let us know what you think. I’m sure you Xbox 360 owners will be already preparing your comeback messages.

I wouldn’t put money on GoW3, GT5 coming out this year. GT5 might get a Japan release.

Oh yeh, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII has no chance of making a 2009 release.

‘…next year will be the year where the Playstation 3 finally heads to the top’

Deja vu! How many times is that going to be said before it finally comes true I wonder…

    Can’t wait for Killzone 2

you’ll get Killzone 2 (hopefully! at last!?) out of those games next year so still a big year for PS3???… for me (and i DO own 1) its a corn waiting to pop….maybe 2010?.
Or will the ship be sunk by then?

Although I’ve been aware of the extreme bias in favor of the PS3 that permeates this site, I’ve never felt compelled to comment until now.
For two years now I’ve heard the Sony faithful telling me to just wait, the PS3 will have this, that, or the other and will rise to the top of the proverbial heap of game consoles.
Meanwhile I know one (1) person who actually owns a PS3 and scores of people who own Xbox 360’s. Now I have no hatred for the PS3 as a piece of hardware, but the numbers just don’t add up for it. With a still too high price in a global economic downturn, nothing more than a handful of games that aren’t also available on the 360 and continued cries of “just wait until next year,” not to mention that it is no longer the cheapest blu-ray player on the market; the PS3, while not likely to go the way of the Dreamcast, is also not likely to rise much above the mediocrity that was the Gamecube.
Everytime I’ve considered getting one, something happens to make it less and less desirable; most recently being the announcement that the next Tekken game will be released for the 360 and is no longer exclusive to the PS3. There is just little to no justification for 360 owners to spend the money to also get a PS3. Sorry to burst your insulated Sony fanboy bubble, but I simply have heard nary a word outside of fanboy sites like this one about the “hugely anticipated” line up for the PS3 next year. So, wake up fanboy; I have nothing against Sony, but they really dropped the ball with the way they’ve rolled out the PS3 and marketed it since it’s debut.

This is a fake video game news site that just slightly rewords Sony Playstation press releases to support Sony ( they have release 3 Sony Pressers since the story about playstation dying came out through CNN-Money.) Love that headline though, Joan Rivers used to say when presented with an ugly baby since she did not wish to lie and call the kid good looking she would instead say to the parents “What a Baby!”

Epic have already said GOW3 will be out in 2010 NOT next year, which shows how little the tw@ who wrote this Article knows about games? its funny what lengths people will go to under desperation…

& that doesnt mean that it gonna be an even worth year for the 360!…
