Palm App Store: Follows Apple, RIM and Google

Palm has been waiting by the sidelines watching as Apple, Rim and Google show of their might with their App Stores. We have also learned that Microsoft are also going to launch their very own App Store, so it has come as no surprise that Palm are to launch their own app store.

Palm’s applications market will be called Software Store, but the production will be given to Pockergear but the two of them should be able to work together just fine on the 25 plus Windows Mobile / Palm OS-based Palm handsets.

The new app store is now ready and already has 5,000 apps and games, a 1,000 of which are free of charge. The new service is just a click away, all you will need to do is install the free mobile store software, and you are ready to go.
