When Microsoft introduces an update for a piece of their software, they normally like to shout it from the rooftops. That was not the case with Internet Explorer 8 RC1, the first update for IE8 beta 2. So is this new version which has been called Release Candidate 1 any good?
TG Daily has decided to take a closer look, and then offer up a review on Microsoft IE8 RC1. The new version of the browser brings with it a host of enhancements in a number of areas, from accessibility, private browsing as well as overall reliability and speed.
RC1 is different to other Internet Explorer browsers, as it now has new features that are on more of an equal footing with Mozilla Firefox as well as Safari, Opera and Google Chrome. There is still a downside though, and that is, web standards support such as CSS 3 is still behind the competition.
