Internet Explorer Security Warning and Problems Update
By: Peter Chubb | December 16, 2008 | 1 CommentThe only thing on computer users minds is the problem with Internet Explorer, but Microsoft are trying to ease people’s minds by announcing that they intend to release an out-of-band patch for this huge error that is effecting all versions of IE.
The security vulnerability allows hackers to launch malicious attacks, where they are then able to steal information from your computer and then take over your computer without your knowledge. Microsoft warned users about the flaw last week, which they then updated users again on Monday.
Hackers have managed to release exploit code, which has affected millions of computers around the world. Until Microsoft actually comes up with a patch for Internet Explorer, experts have advised that we should take some extra security precautions, such as making sure that your antivirus and antimalware programs are up to date. The best precaution that you can take is use another browser for now, such as Firefox.
