Comparison: Nokia N97 with 5800, HTC Touch Pro, XPERIA X1 and iPhone

I have seen a number of comparisons done with the Nokia N97, but never with four handsets at once. Mobile review decided to take the N97 and pit it against a Nokia 5800, HTC Touch Pro, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 and the Apple iPhone.
The Nokia N97 is one of Nokia’s most expensive handsets, but they are throwing everything they have at it. We know that it will have a touchscreen, but there are also a number of other areas where the N97 will shine over their competitors, such as the cell phone’s storage capacity.
The Nokia N97 will run on the S60 5th edition operating system, but with a few extra features. The new handset will have to be something special to be able to compete with the likes of the HTC Touch Pro and the XPERIA X1, and will need to be the holy grail of cell phones to knock the Apple iPhone of its throne.

Waiting for… a 1GHz processor, a 1 GB RAM, a XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) display, a 10 MPX camera with flash, a full HD video recording, a 100 GB storage, a 100Mbps WIFI, GPS and a-GPS, on screen QWERTY keyboard, Digital TV (DVB-H), etc. are high-end features of the future phones and so will be my next phone. Who will make the first one? HTC, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung … Until then I will not buy any phone.
What is the release date in UAE???..cool phone
For me the real high-tech phone race is the power and “Toshiba TG01 mobile phone” is the first one to cross the line of 1 GHz processor speed. The phone is a 4.1-inch full touch screen (the largest display in the history of mobile phones), a Qualcomm snapdragon 1GHz chipset, Windows Mobile 6.1, etc. We will probably see the Toshiba TG01 at MWC 2009 and learn more about it.
not its not HTC has already released the Advantage which has way bigger screen.
no its not the biggest screen in the history of mobiles..The HTC advantage came out about a year ago and it has a bigger screen and its also a phone btw.
