Security flaw in Internet Explorer still not fixed
By: Peter Chubb | December 15, 2008 | 1 CommentFor those of you who use any version of Internet Explorer, you run the risk of being vulnerable to having your computer hijacked. It seems that IE still has a security flaw in the software, which is yet to be fixed.
This serious security hole lets criminals take control of your computer, by tricking them into visiting websites that have been tainted with a malicious programming code. It is thought that there could be as many as 10,000 websites compromised since last week.
Most of the websites are Chinese, and have been coming up with programs that can actually steal passwords from computer games; this could then be sold for money on the black market. But the security hole in Internet Explorer could see larger criminal gangs to cause serious mayhem.
