Gears of War 2 edges ahead of Call of Duty: World at War

New figures released have indicated that Gears of Wars 2 was the biggest selling game in the US in November, managing to shift more than 1.5million copies.

The NPD figures for November have been released so expect to be reading all about how well each console has performed this month on various gaming sites.

The figures also showed that Call of Duty: World at War was close on its tail on the 360 as they reached 1.41million copies for November. Wii Play on Nintendo’s console was in 3rd position with 796,000 copies sold.

    Headline is inaccurate. Call of Duty World at War outsold Gears 2. These figures do not represent Sales on the PC, PS3 or Wii.
