Earlier this month there was a notable change as Windows dropped to 90 percent of the market share; this is the first time in more than a decade. There are a number of factors why this has happened, and President-Elect Barack Obama could close the gap between Apple and Windows even more.
Some of the reasons why Apple has been doing so well it because of the continued success of the iPod and the iPhone, and there is no sign of things slowing down. We mentioned above about Obama, it is because his personal choice of an Apple Mac.
Barack Obama caused such a huge frenzy, which is why he has been elected President of the Unites States. Those who voted for him might want to be more like him and decide to part company with their PC running on Windows and choose the Apple Mac instead.

Obama will change many things, but I don’t think Mac sales are one of them - after all Macs’ growth in the market has pre-dated his ascendance to the presidency. Undoubtedly the two share a lot of qualities in common, but if anything Apple came first. Maybe Apple has made Barack Obama more popular?
