Valve stops Left4Dead cheaters on Xbox 360
By: Alan Ng | December 11, 2008 | 1 CommentValve has made some patches to their servers to stop people cheating on the Xbox 360 version of Left 4 Dead.
Gamers were able to find exploits which allowed them to enter commands into a console type menu, giving
them control over game content such as spawning enemies and weapons, making items disappear and the ability to give users infinite health.
Valve said, ‘The fix is designed to halt the cheating behaviour on the dedicated servers, which accounts for the majority of the co-op and Versus modes of play. A title update for those playing on user-hosted servers and/or via system link will be released in the coming days.”
Hopefully it will put a stop to all the filthy gamers cheating that has been going on within the game, you people know who you are! Let us know what you think of the updates.
