Still no Street Fighter II HD date for EU PS3 owners

While PS3 owners in the US have been enjoying the remake of Street Fighter II for over a week now, there is still no sign on when Europeans will be able to play the game.

Sony and Capcom were unable to give any release dates for Europe with Capcom stating, ‘Theres nothing to say till we make an official announcement.’

The game is currently available in ALL regions on Xbox Live since November 26th, and once again we are talking about European PS3 owners getting frozen out, when will it stop I wonder?

While Europeans can be entitled to be a little enraged over this issue, it seems to be happening time and time again, just look at the Rock Band issues for prime examples.

Time to pull the finger out and treat Europeans equally me thinks. Are there any EU readers out there who were looking forward to picking this up from day one only for the game to be hit with delays on PS3? Let us know what you think.

    Yeah, I wanted this, and I think SCEE needs to pull their finger out and get us the fair amount of content as America gets.

    If this doesnt hit the store today (since its Thursday) then I’m buying something else…

    I’m a U.K. PS3 owner, and I bought Street Fighter HD from the American Playstation Store. Set up a new account with an American address (a fake one will do) and pay with an EntroPay account. It cost me about £10, which is probably less than it will be when it’s released here!

    I would encourage all U.K. PS3 owners to do the same to teach Sony a lesson!

    I thought this would be up last night (Thursday) but no joy… BAD LUCK CAPCOM, you can stick this game where the sun don’t shine because I won’t be getting it now, I’ll just stick with MAME and all the ripped Capcom roms I have!

    im very upset because all SCEE do is screw eu owners like high velocity owling how come usa version s trophies uk one no trophies and no playstation network cards for us europeans im really mad two weeks now and no street fighter2 hd sony F*** YOU!!
