Sony PS3 Home Network Error: C-991

All the die-hard Sony Playstation 3 gamers have known that today is the day for the new PS3 HOME service, although not everyone knew just how it would appear to us today.

After looking on the Playstation Store and other places PS3 Home was still nowhere to be seen at gone 6pm GMT, then come around 9pm Home appeared next to the PS Store logo within the dashboard. Next were a 77mb download and some terms and conditions.

After the excitement boiled over we were met with a Network Error: C-991. This said “the connection to the server was lost C-991”. Many gamers have had this error over and over; our advice to you is to keep trying. Reports are coming in now that this is because of the high traffic load and users are now getting in to HOME and so have we with our test. Have you had this error?

    The servers must be over loaded. Luckily i was a beta tester an know what it looks like.

    surely playstation should have been aware of the high volume of traffic it would experience. Come on boys, sort it out!

    wen will it work mine keep cummin up with the connection 2 the server was lost c-931 any 1 knows wen it work

    Yeah i keep getting this message, my mates at work are all playing around on home ! but im the only one getting this ….. any ideas ?

    My PS3 works now,Home is beautiful.

    after 30x trying to come in the world :S
    but it was worth it ;)

    Just change the time and date settings to the correct time and date and your problem will be gone
    this worked for me :)
