If you want to be able to watch standard definition as well as free high definition TV on your PC, then you should consider the Pinnacle PCTV HD PCI Tuner Card, which has no service fees. The card supports both digital over-the-air (ATSC) as well as unencrypted digital cable (ClearQAM) HDTV.
The Pinnacle PCTV HD PCI Tuner Card will automatically record shows direct to your hard drive, in the file format of your choice, such as MPEG-2, DivX and more. You can also record the show direct to DVD, with the use of the VideoSpin video editing software.
The PCTV card has a number of inputs; these include Composite Video, TV antenna input, FM antenna input, S-Video, and Stereo Audio. The Pinnacle PCTV HD PCI Tuner Card is currently Woot’s sellout item of the day, and costs just $19.99.

It’s cheap because its junk. I’ve tried two of the card and had nothing but problems.
Based on my experience I recommend staying away from any Pininacle product
What kind of computer do you have?
I installed the card on my PC and it works like a charm. I am a Windows Media Center user and have no problems. I was able to successfully record the SEC and BCS championship, NFL playoffs, and the inauguration of President Obama using Windows Media Center. I am currently reading how to program/hack the remote to work with Windows Media Center. I hope I don’t break it!
this dosent workwith windows xp
I installed it into Windows Vista Ultimate 64 using the beta 64 bit drivers and have had not one single problem with it.
