HHGregg accepts Circuit City gift cards through Super Bowl Sunday weekend

HHGregg has been accepting Circuit City gift cards on HHGregg purchases for a while now, and will continue to do so through Super Bowl Sunday weekend, which will end on February 1, 2009. The value of the gift card will be up to 20 percent of the total HHGregg product purchase price.
HHGregg have said that they are continuing with the promotion, as it helps to assist those who are being affected by other store closures. HHGregg, who are based in Indianapolis, has seven stores in the Tri-State.
Back in November, Circuit City Stores Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company had hoped that strong Black Friday and Christmas sales will help to boost profit, but it is a huge ask. It is a tough time for Circuit City employees, as they are not certain of their future.
