By: Peter Chubb | December 11, 2008 | Leave a CommentThe GeForce GTX295 VGA card will hopefully be coming to CES 2009, and you will be able to see this graphics card in the flesh. The card comes with two GPUs of 55nm GT200, and has 2 x 240 stream processors, giving you 480SP.
The memory bus width is 896 bit, 448bit x 2, and has a memory size of 1792MB DDR3, 896mb x 2. The total power of the card is 289W; it is thought that the card will not adopt GDDR5. The GeForce GTX295 will launch on January 8, which is the day that CES 2009 starts.
It is not yet known how much the price will be for the GeForce GTX295, but it does show one thing, GeForce will prove with the GTX295 that they are once again the dominant force when it comes to graphics cards.
