Best Deals Today In UK: Woolworths Closing Down Sale

It is a big day in the UK for Woolworths as shoppers have been visiting stores, in what is hoped to be the biggest deals from the store in its closing down sale. However when shoppers got to those stores, they left a little disappointed.

A number of shoppers were hoping to get 50% of a range of items, but shoppers who visited the stores said that the sale was “rubbish”, “disgusting” and a “con”. The fact is, most of the sales items are just 10 percent off, shoppers were saying that you might as well go to the supermarket to get your items.

The news of the closing down sale has seen those who do normally shop at Woolworths heading there to get a bargain. I went to the store and just walked out; I could not stand the crowd. You have to wonder if Woolworths‘ administrator, Deloitte has hyped up the closing down sale to try and boast sales.
