2009 Covini C6W: 6 wheeler Italian two-seat, two-door supercar
By: Peter Chubb | December 11, 2008
The 2009 Covini C6W is short for Covini 6 Wheeler and is an Italian two-seater, two-door sports car, which also comes with a removable roof section. The car was first thought up around 30 years ago by Ferruccio Covini, but did not get to see the light of day.
It was not until the late 80s that Covini was able to start work on his dream, thanks to the development of new hydro-pneumatic suspension technology. This technology helped him design the front four-wheel section, which suits different driving conditions. High costs in this process delayed the program once more.
Now we are about to enter 2009, and hopefully Ferruccio Covini will get to realize his dream with the C6W, as the resources are now available. The car will be powered by an Audi-sourced 4.2L V8 engine and should produce 380hp.
