Vertu Boucheron 150: is it worth $30,000?
By: Peter Chubb | December 10, 2008 | Leave a CommentThere are certainly some nice luxury cell phones on the market, but I am not sure if the Vertu Boucheron 150 is one of them. This phone has been designed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the Boucheron French jewelry house.
Some of Vertu’s handsets have looked nice, but their features and the weight have let them down. I am not sure why anyone would want to pay $30,000 for an over-priced handset, even if it has been made from gold.
The Vertu Boucheron 150 looks like most other Vertu phones, but a crippled and strange looking one. The phone has been built from one piece of gold, and has taken more than 2,000 hours to build just one as it is hand-made. Let us know if you like this strange looking phone.
