MotorStorm: Pacific Rift sells over one million copies on PS3
Filed under: Gaming, Sony Playstation 3

Worldwide Studios boss Michael Denny has said that MotorStorm: Pacific Rift for the Sony PS3 has now sold over one million copies worldwide.
The racing sequel was only released at the start of November, with many gamers not as interested in the game compared to the original launch title. It entered the UK charts at number 29 and fell to 35 the week after.
Still though, 1 million copies just after a month on release is great news for the company. Denny gave us more good news as he confirmed the team were working on fresh downloadable content for the game so expect to hear news on that in the future.

See. The PS3 titles don’t depend on the first week sales to make all there money (Granted IT DOES HELP. I am not stupid or anything).
Just because a game does not sell a million copies in the first week it does not mean that it wil fail.
Most PS3 games make their sales over time. As more and more PS3 are sold, more and more will be sold in the first week.
Congrats Worldwide Studio.
I don’t really agree, I think that the sells that a game do in the first week or month are kind of essential for ther futur succes
