Sony UK to release Killzone 2 just after the US

Killzone 2 will be released on the 27th February 2009 in the United States. Sony UK have made a statement today saying that they are aiming for a similar release date over in the UK.

The news comes from CVG where they spoke to a Sony UK representative on the phone who told them that they are ‘targeting a similar timeframe in the PAL regions’.

I wonder how long it will be until we see a gaming industry where all games are released simultaneously and Europe are no longer shunted like usual. Could 2009 be the year of hope? Leave us your thoughts on this.
