President of SCEE David Reeves has revealed that the latest Sony figures to come out show that the Playstation 3 is ‘300,000 units ahead of the Xbox 360.’’ in the PAL territories.
A few days ago, we heard Microsoft come out and say how well they were doing after the recent Black Friday sales, but this week it is Sony who is coming out on the defensive claiming their console isn’t doing too bad either.
Sadly though, Reeves also said that there is still no price cuts planned for the PS3 and doesn’t plan price cuts next spring either. You can read more details in the link below.

Its hard to have a price cut on a system you dont have to buy 3 of, because they break down every year. PS3s are built vary good. Which cant be said for almost any other system in gaming history. Plus you get a updated blu ray wi fi tech machine. Not a 2001 Pentium dvd player. Game tech wars are closer to over, as it moves into a new time frame. As US citizens, we need to be more worried about using tech to do what we do best, not what other do best. And as a steady world, we need to let everyone do what they do best do it.
the PS3 has still sold more units worldwide this year than the 360. i think the PS3 is going to be spanked at xmas though, they’re practically giving the 360 away these days and what with things being tight, parents buying a new toy for little Jimmy are going to go for the cheaper option.
