For those of you who are getting a little tired of the Sony PS3’s LittleBigPlanet problems, you will be pleased to know that 1.05 patch is now live. Not sure how good the patch is for Little Big Planet, but it can’t be that special as it is only 15MB in size.
As yet there are no details as to what the patch fixes, but hopefully it will be to improve the stability of the game, like the previous patches. Media Molecule has said that they are committed to improving key areas of the game.
These areas include Moderation, Online play as well as searching. Hopefully some of those improvements will be included in this patch. If you have had a chance to install the LittleBigPlanet 1.05 Patch then please let us know what changes you have noticed.

Struggling with the controls is the main issue..
Struggling to move into the backround or foreground, having Sackboy run 5 inches to its death every time you jump like your on ice sheet, and to terrible camera angles that just AUTO-DEATH you is the main problem.
Its a Kids game Kids cant play …..HELLO SONY!!!!!
I don’t think it was geared or marketd directly towards kids.
I agree, little kids 5 to 8, probably can’t play this game. Which is fine. Get madagascar 2 for the kids.
This game requires skills just like any other game. Learn to play them and stop complaining.
@ Carla, LBP most certainly isn’t a kids game - it’s PEGI rating is 7+ for a start (and my 7 year old Nephew has no trouble with the most MM levels and the simple user-created levels) and the creation tools are certainly not for kids. Contray to what some believe games that aren’t based on WWII or contain Alien hordes aren’t automatically kids games. The TV ads are also targeted at an older audience too.
As for the jumping, it can be tricky sometimes but that is part of the skill element of the game - the jumps are very sensitive to how hard/long you press the Jump button and you can also push back on your controller on landing to try and stablise yourself.
The 3-way movement on the Z-axis works well for the most part - the auto-aligning during the jump helps make things much easier/more intuitive and I’ve found it rarely gets things wrong. In general the thing to remember is you can only jump into the foreground - to move to the background you need to press up on your controller on a flat section of map or jump onto a higher platform in the background (you can’t jump down to the background). A lot of it is down to level design.
Speaking of level design - this is a physics based game and the materials have physical properties too - rubber and sandpaper are less slippy than glass and metal for example. As for camera angles they are also controlled by the creator of the level, the only time I’ve ever had trouble with the camera is if I’ve not kept up with the group - and I wouldn’t want it any other way, if you can’t keep up when the screen is at max zoom out (you have 5 seconds to catch up) then you die and move to the next checkpoint rather than have people sat around stuck because you can’t do a section…
Hopefully it fixed the whole “Connect connect to player” issue.
