Back in the 80s Kodak developed the first diode device, which means that Kodak know a thing or two about OLED. It is about time that the company launched the world’s first 7.6-inch OLED photo frame, so has the wait been worth it.
CNET have been given the chance to try out the new $1,000 device, CNET wanted a closer look at the Kodak OLED Photo Frame to see if it is a “vanity piece” at that price. The device offers brilliant colors, and sharp 800 x 480 pixel images.
The OLED photo frame has a contrast ratio of 30,000:1, and the built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect directly to Flickr, as well as Kodak’s own photo sharing service. You can transfer images direct from your PC to the Kodak OLED Photo Frame, but not on the Mac.
