Anime and Movies coming to Xbox 360 in 2009
By: Alan Ng | December 4, 2008 | Leave a CommentMicrosoft is set to start offering movies and anime via paid downloads through its Xbox 360 console in 2009 according to Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
The Japanese market differs from the American market where Japanese 360 owners are yet to receive movies and content regularly due to ‘complex copyright issues’ states the paper.
Things over there seem to be on the move though as the Nintendo Wii will also be receiving some
content shortly. A download service via WiiWare is set to happen from Fuji Software and the Wii will also be gaining media content from major broadcasters like TBS and Fuji which will start in 2009.
