TiVo’s Amazon Video on Demand Menu: Now HD Streaming
By: Peter Chubb | December 3, 2008 | 1 CommentThe big news a few weeks back was that Netflix were to allow HD streaming on the Xbox 360, with the launch of the new Xbox Experience. Well that little party is short lived, as Amazon have gate crashed the HD streaming party.
An Engadget reader has reported that the “Available in High Definition” menu picks has now surfaced on under his TiVo’s Amazon Video on Demand menu. The reader did note that when he clicks on it nothing happens, but that should be rectified shortly.
Being able to stream HD content direct to your TiVo is just awesome, and Netflix will not be happy about it. We all know how big Netflix is, but next to the might of Amazon we could be in for a big fight. Which of the two services would you much rather use?
