Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 vs Nokia N97
By: Peter Chubb | December 3, 2008 | 25 CommentsWhenever a new handset is announced it starts a flood of comparisons against a cell phone that it will be competing with. The latest announcement from Nokia is the newest N-Series phone, the N97. So what phone will the N97 be competing with, well that would be the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.
Both phones are very similar in design, apart from the fact that the N97 has much rounder edges, I really like the design of these two phones. So let us look at the features of each phone to see how they match up.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 3.15 inch touchscreen, Full QWERTY keyboard, 3.15 megapixel camera with autofocus and video camera. Other features include GSM, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Built-in GPS receiver, up to 833 hours standby and up to 10 hours talktime.

Nokia N97 features include, 3.5 touchscreen, Full QWERTY keyboard, A-GPS sensors and an electronic compass, 32GB storage with a further 16GB microSD available, giving the phone up to 48GB storage. Other features include, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, G, Wi-Fi and much more.

It is hard to choose between the two, as both phones look sexy, but the specs on the Nokia N97 looks so much better.
