HTC Touch Pro vs Nokia N97

We all seem to have a short attention span, as one week we are all talking about the BlackBerry Storm and the next we are talking about the Nokia N97. Another phone that got a lot of attention on the Internet was the HTC Touch Pro, and for good reason.

The Touch Pro was HTC’s answer to the Diamond which came under a lot of flak, and the cell phone maker certainly showed the critics that they were back. The HTC Touch Pro certainly has some great features, these include 2.8-inch TFT-LCD flat touch-sensitive screen, Slide Out QWERTY Keyboard, 3.2 megapixel, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HTC ExtUSB, HSDPA, GPS and much more.

The Nokia N97 features 3.5-inch touch display with a full QWERTY keyboard, 16:9 widescreen display, up to 48 GB, this includes 32 GB of on-board memory and up to with a 16 GB microSD card expandable memory. Other features include 5-Megapixel camera with high-quality Carl Zeiss optics, HSDPA 3G support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and much more.

Which of the two would you choose?

    Obviously the nokia.

The company is weighing big w/no phone (nokia 810) versus the WHOLE enchilada.

I’d be willing to carry the 810 appliance for the screen size if they would add phone.

The big issue with the nokia phones is the fact they circumvent so many of the profit-making services of the providers, they risk continued isolation.

The touch pro 2 is coming out soon, which will be the ultimate device, combining the massive screen from the touch HD with the qwerty board from the touch pro.
