Playstation 3 Update 2.53: Wish list for next firmware

The Sony PlayStation 3 Update 2.53 has now launched and although it is not the greatest firmware update, there a few good features that should keep users happy. The most notable of those features is full screen support added to Adobe Flash Player 9.
Other new features include Adobe Flash Player content support for the Internet browser, Sequential Playback, Divx VOD Registration Code, Power Save Settings, Nine Volume Output Levels, Trophies can now be synced with the server, and also the playback quality of certain PS3 format software has been improved.
Although these are not the best features that could have been updated in firmware 2.53, it does show that Sony are moving ever closer to making the PS3 the only piece of entertainment equipment that you need.

I think that you should make it so we can do more than one thing at a time.
Like listen to music and play game at the same time. Also chane our name because most people when they first got they playstation 3 was like what the hell is this and just put something stupid there. The online name not our real name.
o and i forgot I’d like to read the text on a small text. Just because the TV is small the text shouldn’t be. I am tired of scooting real close to read it.
NTFS is a must! FAT32 is a dead format, can’t hardly find a small enough external drive. Its also a much more efficient way of storing data than FAT32 is.

And to play ps2 games on the ps3(40 gigs) cause i,m sick of swapping system everytime i want to play a ps2 game xD
i wont 2 listen 2 music and play a game at the same time and play ps2 games on my ps3 and download yellow dog lunx straight 2 the ps3 with out need 2 burn it and all that stuff i think that sony should do wot we ask coz with out us they would lose so much money so plz do as we ask thanks

Everyone keeps going on about ingame music… well its already available the game develpoers just need to put it in. I would like to see trophys on all games. Also ingame chat would be good so you can chat on different games and also a interacrive friends list. But stop whining about home its out!
Allow the usb ports to stay on in PS2 mode so i can play guitar hero 1 2 & 3 with my world tour guitar in HD instead of pulling my PS” out the cuboard.
I wish for more codecs for the PS3. That can play almost anything. Like .MKV. And support for PS2 games
