Harry Potter: Lego video game makeover

Reports are suggesting that Harry Potter will be the latest franchise to undergo the Lego video game treatment.
Following on from the successful games such as Batman, Star Wars and Indiana Jones, Movie company Warner is said to be preparing a deal which will allow a Harry Potter Lego game to be made.
Warner owns the Lego game developers Travellers Tales, but Electronic Arts own the publishing rights for the Harry Potter movies so we will have to wait and see how this one plans out.

Very excited, my son came home from school telling me about this last night and I did a search just now to see if it was true. He love legos and HP, so it is a great combo. Too bad it isn’t by Christmas!
I’m curious if they’re going to us the same engine or if they’ll run a different one. I feel it would be hard to use the same interface for this because in original lego games they all had one ability each but in HP they all have spells that they can learn. These are just my thoughts though.
Yes, I would LOVE for a Lego Harry Potter game to be made! I’ve read all the books and I love them! If you do, I will try to buy it as soon as possible!
I can’t wait. My brother and I absolutley loved the lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman games. I love Harry Potter, can’t wait. When does it come out?
The spell problem has occurred to me but i think i know how the developers will go abouut this:
you know how on the previous lego games the hand-to-hand combat was sort of random? well maybe that’s what will happen with HP, for example, you press the attack button and a red spell will be shot. then you press it again and a blue spell will be shot. and maybe aiming at certain things will do certain spells. I dunno just my idea
I own all the lego games and all the Harry Potter movies this is a great idea, may be they could make more than 1 game like with Star Wars. I just hope that the extras are better than the Batman Lego game.
my thing is for ur idea Jack how would that work i mean if that was the case then people would turn on the game and not look back they like the sayin “the wand chooses the wizard mister Potter” so what good would it do i mean to choose the spell why not for wii in to the wand controller say the spell you want and it would react and shoot it from the wand but you can only say specific spell for different people but you also learn spells for the students and the adults and bad guys dont they have all the spells they need also they have different extras and they have seceret spells like uh… well i dont know but that is my idea of it
