Apple iPhone 3G case for visually impaired: Silicone Touch
By: Peter Chubb | December 2, 2008 | Leave a CommentIf I was to choose one of the best accessories for the Apple iPhone 3G, then it would have to be this Silicon Touch iPhone case from Yanko Design. This accessory makes using the Apple iPhone 3G much easier for the visually impaired.
The Silicon Touch iPhone 3G case comes with the tactile screen cover as well as an application that allows the two to work together. The screen cover displays tactile icons and symbols, with the application software placing buttons behind the surface features.
The silicone case has been engraved with modified bas-relief buttons, each of these correspond to a modified home-screen on your Apple iPhone. All of the phone’s features still work, so if a friend or family member wants to use your iPhone; all they need to do is remove the case.
