2009 Optibike OB1 electric mountain bike now available

2009 Optibike OB1 electric mountain bike, which uses the most cutting edge technology, is now available. The OB1 is at the fore-front in Light Electric Vehicle design, thanks to its ultralight carbon fiber components, as well as its GPS navigation.

What else makes the bike so great is its fully integrated PDA; this displays the performance details of the Motorized Bottom Bracket. The electric motor is kept charged with the use of a high capacity lithium ion battery, allowing you to ride for over 2 hours.

The 2009 Optibike OB1 comes in a choice of three paint designs, thanks to Gunslinger Custom Paint. One custom paint job is the hand cut 23ct gold leaf and 23ct gold plated Motorized Bottom Brackett. The price for the bike starts at $13,000, that takes the fun out of cycling.

this has to be the worse bike of all time. it is much noiser then a gasoline car, with a fraction of the range. i got 2 tickets on seperate bike trails for driving a motorized vehicle where prohibited. thats how noisy. metal on metal[chains, with a motor spinning] will do that.17 miles to be exact, real world driving. takes forever to charge. weighs a ton. once your out, your out. dead in the water. thats how heavy. theres no going back. try pedaling the darn thing with the motor off. im better off with my christini awd bike. i can easily get twice the range, without the stop of refueling myself. i lost $8000 when i sold it within a 2 week span, cause they wouldnt take it back, having gone 3 miles over the limit.they allow i think 70 miles to try it out,or refund. i hope they dont get sued by trek.
